NOTD: Barry M - Berry Ice Cream

Hey lovelies,

Today i have another NOTD post!

Barry M Nail Varnish - Berry Ice Cream and Claires Nail Varnish (unfortunately it doesn't have a number or name!)

I am absolutely loving Barry M Berry Ice Cream nail varnish recently and have worn in almost every day recently but I thought I’d change it up a little so I decided to apply a glittery purpe over the top. I actually received this claires polish in a set ages ago and never got round to actually using it but a week ago, I’d been redecorating my room and found the set in one of my old wardrobes! I thought the glittery purple polish went amazingly well with barry m’s polish, so I paired them together!

I think the barry m nail varnishes are great and are probably one of my favourite nail polish brands. I love the opaqueness of the colour and they have such a wide range of colours too! The only downside to barry m polishes is that they take ages to dry, so if I’m in a hurry barry m polishes are the polishes I ignore, other than that they’re really lovely nail varnishes and I defiantly recommend them; especially as there only £2.99 and most of the time you can get them on offer for 3 for 2 or 2 for £5!

Wishlist #2

Hey lovelies!

1) I've heard so many amazing things about the Revlon Lip Balm Stains, I am still yet to try them out.. I just haven't been into boots or superdrug but I will defiantly pick one up! I think the concept behind them is amazing, because it means that I don't have to apply and lip balm underneath and it still has the great staying power of a lip stain even though its moisturising and doesn't dry your lips out!

2) My sister-in-law actually has these and she lets me wear hers all the time but I'm going to try my best and save up so I can pick up my own pair because they're really lovely and I feel like these are the only sunglasses that actually suit me.

3) I absolutely love these jeans, I went into topshop around two weeks ago looking for them but they didn't have my size, I'll have a look one more time when I'm next in topshop but if i can't find them i'll just order them online.

4) This is something whenever I go into boots or superdrug, I always lust over this perfume. It smells amazing and the scent really clings on to your skin for a good 10 hours! The only thing about this perfume is the price tag but hopefully i'll own this perfume one day..haha!

5) I've actually had a sample of this and absolutely fell in love with it! I'm hoping to pick it up this week and I'll try and do a full review of it soon! It's perfect for my skin and because I have dry skin I find foundations normally cling to my dry patches, but this doesn't at all and stays on my skin all day even if I don't use a primer!

My Top 8 Lipsticks!

Hello!

Today I'm going to show you my top 8 high-street/drugstore lipsticks because there so affordable and i just loooove them!

Left to right: 17 Supreme Shine Lipstick - Day-Glo, 17 Mirror Shine Lipstick - Beehive, MUA lipstick - Shade 11, 17 Mirror Shine Lipstick - Peace, L'oreal Caresse Lipsticks - Sweet Berry, ELF lipstick - Gipsy, Revlon  Colorburst Lipbutter - Tutti Frutti, Avon Lipstick - Cranberry

17 Supreme Shine Lipstick - Day-glo: This is my favourite pink shade from my lipstick collection, just because its so bright and daring. The pigmentation is absolutely great and they are super creamy. It's actually more brighter in real life than it seems in the picture, because it is so bright I'd normally be afraid of wearing lipsticks like this - but this is so versatile you can defiantly sheer it down.  I would say that the lasting power is ok, you could probably get 2-3 hour wear out of it, 3 hours at the max. Overall it's a lovely lipstick and it's available from boots and they retail for £4.99.

17 Mirror Shine Lipstick - Beehive: I love love love love love this lipstick. Mine is completely battered to say at least, because its so creamy and glossy mine melted in my bag and I tried to save it but i failed..haha! Mine is defiantly on its last legs! The formula of these lipsticks is so lovely, they glide on you lips and they work as a sheer lipstick/lip gloss, i defiantly agree with the name, they are super shiny! This colour is a lovely peach/pink toned nude..if your any darker than my NC30 skin tone i don't think this wouldn't suit you, i would think it would just wash you out. The only negative thing i have to say about this lipstick, is i absolutely hate the packaging, i think it looks so cheap and tacky but other than that its a great lipstick! These are available from boots and retail for £4.59.

MUA Lipstick - Shade 11: This is by far my favourite and most used lipstick, not forgetting it's the cheapest! MUA is a great affordable brand which is exclusively available at superdrug. Now were do i start with the lipstick, for me this is my perfect colour. This is actually my 2nd one of these and I'm almost out *note to self: must buy a back-up!* The formula is super creamy and these lipsticks glide on like a dream, even though they don't have the best lasting power, you really can't complain for one pound! Its extremely pigmented and i hope MUA never discontinue this shade! MUA lipsticks are available from superdrug and they retail for £1!

17 Mirror Shine Lipstick - Peace: I'm not going to say to much about this lipstick because its the same as beehive besides this is a pink. Its a lovely shade and i love how glossy it makes your lips appear, not to mention they keep your lips moisturised too, so no lip balm needed! Mirror Shine Lipsticks are available from boots and they retail for £4.59.

L'oreal Caresse Lipstick - Sweet Berry: These lipsticks, i would say are in between a lip balm and a lipstick. They're quite sheer and they are extremely moisturising. According to L'Oreal, Rouge Caresse lipsticks have a lightweight formula and soft texture that glides on the lips and gives them luminous shine, I agree with every one of them. They are really lovely and I love this shade, it defiantly appears more brown in the tube than it does on the lips, i find on the lips it comes out more berry-ish. L'oreal Caresse Lipsticks are available to buy from places such as Boots, Superdrug, Tescos, Asda etc. They retail for £7.99.

ELF Gipsy: I absolutely love this lipstick, they are so ridiculously cheap too. The pigmentation of it for the price is amazing and not to mention they lasting powder is fantastic.  The colour is a gorgeous bright fuchsia. If you’re not a fan of this colour, they have an amazing colour selection. Even though the swatches on the site aren’t brilliant, I’d recommend searching for swatches through the google! My favourite thing about this lipstick is defiantly the price; it’s only bargainous £1.50….crazy! Another thing to mention is the scent, normally cheap lipsticks have a horrible plastic scent but this smell’s beautiful, so fruity. I couldn’t recommend ELF lipsticks enough. The lipsticks are by far my favourite things from ELF.

Revlon Lip Butter - Tutti Frutti: I am in love with the revlon lip butters, not only are they super moisturising and so nourishing, the glide on my lips. My favourite thing about this lip butter is the pigmentation, its like a balm but its so pigmented and it has a great colour pay off. Lip Butters have a divine consistency that’s really creamy, slick, and easy to apply, but it often comes at the expense of wear..but because it is such a lovely product, I don't mind having to reapply it. I love how bright Tutti Frutti is and when you wear it with a natural face of make-up it defiantly makes all the difference.

Avon Lipstick - Cranberry: This is another lipstick which I love wearing, in the tube I'd never of thought it would be my kind of colour until i tested it out on my lips and I love it so much. This lipstick glides onto my lips and leaves a glossy finish and lasts on the lips for around 2 hours before you need to reapply. Another great thing about this lipstick is you can really sheer it down by applying it with a finger and tapping it into the lips, when you want a more natural and subtle lip. These lipsticks are defiantly worth checking out on the website.

August Glossybox: International Superstars!

Hi lovelies, today i have my first ever glossybox post. I have actually been receiving glossybox for a while but today I thought i'd write my thoughts about this months box!

If you are unaware of Glossybox, basically its a monthly subscription and you recieve 5 deluxe samples delivered to your doorstep. Each Glossybox has a theme, last months theme was festival themed and this months theme is International Superstars.

This month I actually received 6 samples instead of 5, which was nice. Please note that my box may not be the same as yours as everyone's box may vary slightly and some products may be different. It comes in a baby pink box, inside the box the products are wrapped in black tissue paper card and inside filled with black shredded tissue paper and the box is wrapped in a pink box and sealed with a cute Glossybox sticker. The boxes are great to use for storage!
ALESSANDRO PRO WHITE:
' 'Optically brightening effect nail polish with anti-yellowing formula for radiant white and gleaming nails'' - Germany.

I am actually really excited to use this as I love painting my nails but I do try and let my nails breathe and pamper my nails once in a while as painting them often, leaves my nails with a yellow tint, because this product has a anti-yellowing formula, I am looking forward to see how I get along with it.

RRP: 7.85 / 10ml

DHC DEEP CLEANSING OIL:''' This revolutionary water-soluble cleanser is better than any other make-up remover you've ever tried'' - Japan

I am looking forward to try this too as it seems like a great product, I shall be looking forward to see how well it takes my make-up off. I find oil-based removers help take my make up off much better..however if you have oily skin this is a product that will most probably not be used.

Full Size: £18.50 / 200ml

ALL FOR EVE - EVE'S BALM:
''Eve's balm is easily absorbed recovery balm to nourish dry chapped skin.''

This is probably one of my favourite items in the box, its a great multi-purpose balm. I've actually already used it on my elbows and i was seriously impressed with how quickly is was absorbed into my skin and around 10 minutes later my elbow felt so nourished and soft. It has a nice herbal scent too.

RRP: £4.95 / 7g

VERA VALENTI:
''
An eyeshadow palette offering a selection of ten different colours with an applicator included'' - Spain.

This is by far my least favourite item, before I opened it I thought I would be impressed. That is until I swatched some of the colours to find how poor the pigmentation was. They are really chalky and it seems like something you can find in a one pound store in Spain. It is a real shame and I'm sure if it was a better quality item, it would be be a nice product, the formula and pigmentation seriously let's this product down.

RRP: £3.85

LIPCOTE:
''The original lipstick sealer and secret of long lasting, feather fade and water resistant lipstick.''

This is also something I was really looking forward to using, its has been raved about quite a lot in the beauty world. I've heard great things about it and I'm looking forward to seeing if this lives up to expectations. I've actually brought this product for a friend before but never tried it myself!

RRP: £3.99 / 7ml

GLOSSYBOX Lipstick - Glossy Pink
''Professional beauty lipstick for soft and glamorous lips with a luminous, long-lasting colour.''

This is a hit and miss product, mine is actually broken from the bullet which is disappointing. It seems like a nice quality lipstick, but i don't really find glossybox branded products 'luxurious'. I defiantly wouldn't pay £9.50 for it but its a nice colour and it is a nice product. It also have great lasting power!

RRP: £9.50 / 4g

I am happy with this months box besides the eyeshadow palette, I am looking forward to using all of the other products.

Glossybox retails for £10 a month plus £2.95 delivery. You can sign up to Glossybox HERE.

The Best Hand Cream?!

Hey lovelies,

I have possibly found my favourite hand cream. I've tried so many different hand creams from Nivea, The Body Shop, Aveeno and No7 and they I came across this beauty which is by far my favourite out of all the others i've tried. It is the infamous Hand Food by Soap and Glory.

It feels so luxurious and silky on the skin and doesn't at all feel greasy. Its super moisturising and the best thing about it is after I've applied it my hands feel so soft and smooth. The smell is beautiful, it smells to me like marshmallows. The scent  really lingers on to you hands too, which is always a bonus. Who doesn't want lovely smelling hands? It doesn't have a odd scent like some hand creams do '' Body Shop Hemp Hand Cream - I'm looking at you!'', but the Soap and Glory one smells lovely...I could smell it all day!

It contains lots of different beneficial ingredients like, Macadamia Oil, Shea Butter, Grape Seed Oil. It's quite rich but it sinks into the skin really quickly. I also love how its in a squeezy tube, so you can really control how much product you squeeze out and no product is wasted.

Hand Food is great to chuck in your bag, to keep you're hands hydrated and moisturised throughout the day.
Hand Food comes in two sizes, I have the 125ml but it also comes in a mini version which has 50ml. I love how they have to sizes as the 50ml is much more travel friendly.

Soap and Glory is available to buy in Boots and it's also available to buy in Sephora if you're not from the UK.

50ml Tube retails for £2.50 [LINK]
125ml Tube retails for £5 [LINK]

Wishlist! #1

Hey lovelies,

I'm sitting here catching up on 2 broke girls(does anyone else watch it?) I find it hilarious! Well I was until I realised that i am wanting/craving so many products at the moment so why don't I do a wishlist? So here i am doing one! Woop woop to my first wishlist (anything seriously excites me..haha!)

I'm hoping to pick up the River Island bag today, because this is top of my wishlist and for £25 I think that is really good considering I spent £25 on a bag in new look almost identical but without the tassels and it lasted me 3 months and then it just completely broke apart..literally! I do not recommend New Look Messenger Bags as I think they're awful quality and break so quickly! As much as i love New Look and there other bags I think the cross-body bags are a stay away!  I still need to jump on the essie band-wagon(yes I said it.. band-wagon! oh dear Huma!!) When i'm next in Boots i'll definitely pick up a essie polish!

What is on your wishlist?

FREE BENEFIT MAKE UP!

Hey lovelies,

If your from the UK then I hope you've enjoyed the 4 day weekend, thanks to the jubilee!

In July's Issue of Glamour Magazine they have once again teamed up with Benefit and are offering free deluxe samples of three of there products! I have been so exited to get my hands on Glamour. Last year Benefit offered 3 products which were: Posie Tint, Benetint and High Beam Highlighter but this month they're offering: Badgal Mascara, Porefessional Primer and That 'Gal' Primer.

I managed to pick up BADgal Mascara and Porefessional Primer, I seriously can't find That Gal Primer anywhere, and i know that other bloggers and youtubers have had trouble finding it but i haven't given up and i shall find it.........eventually haha!

Each Glamour Magazine retails for £2 and the products are worth £10-£15...bargain!

The samples are so cute and you defiantly can give each product a good try. I am yet to use both products but i honestly can't wait (i'm so sad..haha)

Did you manage to get your hands on Glamour? Which products did you pick up?
