Review: MAC Fix+

"An aqua-spritz of vitamin and minerals, infused with a calm-the-skin blend of green tea, chamomile, cucumber, topped off with the fresh, natural, energizing scent of Sugi. Adds radiance, finishes makeup. Spray it on. Skin drinks it up!"

After hearing continuous good reviews about think product I finally brought, I have always resisted buying it because from just looking at it, it just looks like a bottle filled with water however it's much more than that - I'm in love! I've used it everyday since buying it and I'm so pleased I brought it.

As I have quite dry skin (especially in winter!) I find it difficult to find foundations that don't cling to my dry patches and make my skin appear drier, I personally prefer a natural and dewy finish in a foundation rather than a matte finish and I always prefer my makeup an hour or two later after I've applied it as it settles into my skin however with Fix+ I honestly don't have to worry about my dry patches or a matte face because as soon as spray it onto my face, it leaves my skin with a beautiful glow making me look refreshed and radiant - the dewiness it adds to my face is probably my favourite thing about it. This product is extremely versatile as it acts as a refresher and a setting spray. I can imagine this product being amazing in summer because when applied it's so cooling and refreshing. I would agree to an extent that it makes my makeup last longer but I can definitely notice a difference in the longevity of my makeup when I have applied it and when I haven't.

The mist is also packed with vitamins and minerals so it's good for you skin however, I haven't actually seen any improvements or differences in my skin since using it. The mist is fragranced, however the scent is light and I personally really like it, however, if you're not too keen on the scent, after spraying the mist on your face the scent seems to disappear. Less is more with this product, I find a couple of sprays on my face to be more than enough and I hold the bottle roughly 25cm away from my face and then spray, you should be careful not too spray too close as it will take more time to dry.

It is quite expensive at £14.50 (MAC's prices are rising every year - ridiculous!) however I've been using mine everyday for 2/3 months and I still have at least 70% left, so I know this bottle is going to last me a while but when I do run out, I would definitely re-purchase it. MAC Fix+ is available from MAC for £14.50 and this is for the 100ml bottle, if you're travelling and would prefer a smaller bottle or if you want to try the smaller version instead of buying the biggest bottle, a 30ml bottle is available for £8.

Wishlist #5

I love making wishlists and little notes on my phone of items that I'm lusting over and need want, as my birthday is fast approaching I thought it was appropriate to do a wishlist, I hope I've added something to your wishlist as whenever I watch/read haul videos/posts, favourites or review the products I've seen somehow make it onto my wishlist (this is why I can't save! eeep)

Vera Wang Be Jeweled Perfume: oh my, I actually don't know where to start with this perfume, I first came across it in boots a couple of months ago and instantly fell in love. It's the fruitiest & sweetest perfume I've probably ever across but its not sickly sweet. The only thing that puts me off is the price tag so I'm hoping to either buy this in Jan sales or (very kindly) ask for, for my birthday - I hate buying fragrances myself as there so expensive so I love receiving them - anyone else prefer receiving fragrances rather than buying them or is it just me? haha.

Tartan Scarf: Tartan is so in at the moment, I'm not too keen on tartan jackets, dresses etc. but I love the look of tartan scarfs and after watching Zoella's haul video, I fell in love with the Urban Outfitters one but didn't want to spend £16 on a scarf however, Primark have an extremely similar version for only £5 which I'll definitely be purchasing when I'm next in town.

Black Leather Converses High-Tops: I first saw these in Office and loved them, I've worn my last pair of converses to death and they unfortunately do not have much life in them now and they're extremely dirty - my fault for buying white converses however, I think these will be so much better than the fabric versions because the leather will be easy to clean and because they're black the dirt won't be as noticeable. Love love love!

MAC MSF - Gold Deposit: I've wanted this for absolutely ages but have just never brought it, I've tried it on before and it just gave the most beautiful golden glow to my cheeks & I love how it added to the 'dewy' skin effect & I love how versatile it is and how it can be used as a bronzer and/or a highlighter however, it's not the cheapest at £22 but I'm sure it will last me ages and that's how I'm justifying it - hehe.

Casio Gold-Plated Digital Watch: If you read my haul post I mentioned when I brought my silver mini Casio watch that I orginally planned on buying the gold version but it was out of stock and the watch fanatic inside me tells me that i neeeeed this watch but I think I'm going to restrain myself and hope it goes on sale in the Jan sales. I love how retro is it & the colour will go will everything and anything!

Statement Necklaces

Statement Necklaces have been a staple in my wardrobe since May/June, they really jazz up a simple outfit. Whether it's a simple dress, simple top once you've added a statement necklace, the whole look of the outfit changes. I'm always browsing on different websites and these are some of my favourites that I've found.

1) New Look - Gold and Neon Green Rope Triangle Necklace - £6.99:  The first thing that stood out to me when I saw this was the neon rope, it's great necklace if you want to add some vibrant colours into your outfit and you're adventuring out to neon colours but don't want to go for something too in your face, this necklace is great because it adds colour to your outfit and is still simple and effective.

2) Dorothy Perkins - Peach Rope Necklace - £12.50:  I love the colour of this particular one, I'd personally wear it with a formal dress or I'd even tone it down by wearing it with a simple blouse/top paired with some skinny jeans!

3) Matalan - Fabric and Mesh Rings Necklace - £10:  Matalan have some great jewellery pieces, espically statement necklaces however I don't own any from Matalan this is just because I don't actually have a Matalan near me and I've just been reluctant to purchase them online. Out of there variety they had, this one stood out to me most, I already own a similar necklace to this from New Look but it's in teal and I've worn it too death but this colour would go with everything!

4) Miss Selfridge - Black Rope Chain - £14:  This is a piece that would go with everything you own, I love the black and gold colour combination and I could really see me getting alot of wear out of it, like the other necklaces, this one could also really spice up an ordinary outfit.

5) Accessorize - Sahara Collar - £8: I absolutely love this one, I love the beige shade against the gold, this is another piece that would go with absolutely everything and really make a different to an outfit, it's so beautiful and very elegant.

6) Accessorize - Plaited Chain & Fabric Collar - £12: I love this, I've seen the same design on a number of different websites but this colour combination appealed to me the most, it's the most beautiful tea pink colour against gold, it's so beautiful. Accessorize have a huge variety of jewelry and their statements necklaces are gorgeous, I'd definitely recommend you have a browse on their website or pop into a store near you!

Payday Treats: Michael Kors, Casio and Converse

Shopping is undoubtedly my favourite thing to do, however my bank balance hates it. I've wanted a Michael Kors Watch ever since I can remember, I've finally caved and brought myself one and I'm in love with it. It's the most beautiful thing I've ever laid eyes on (no exaggeration). I've wanted this particular style for ages but it's been out of stock for ages too but the day I got paid, it came back into stock - it was meant to be!

White Converse All Star Ox - £45: I've wanted these for ages and I planned on getting them this month however a few day after results day, my brother & sis-in-law surprised me with the exact pair I wanted, I'm so grateful - it was so sweet! These are actually my first ever pair of Converses and I definitely plan on buying more - they're the comfiest shoes ever! PS. does anyone have any tips on cleaning them? because I want them to stay white forever - haha!

Michael Kors Brookton Watch - MK5763 - £279: Michael Kors watches are so beautiful, I was in-between this one and an all Rose Gold one however I opted for this Silver and Rose Gold one and I've been wearing it everyday since I've brought it, it was love at first sight. I found this watch so hard to picture - the ring is actually rose gold but it's not showing up very well - I actually took 54 pictures in total of this stubborn watch but the rose gold ring kept reflecting back!

Casio Mini Digital Watch - £27.50: Casio digital watches are so retro, I love them! I originally wanted the Gold version of this watch but it was out of stock so opted for this one instead. You're probably thinking why I brought this watch when I've just brought the MK watch - I brought this one because it's much easier for work, I didn't really want to wear my MK one to work because I work in retail and I know that it scratch it up!

Review: Maybelline Baby Lips

What do Maybelline claim?

''No more basic lipbalm, protects and moisturises for a full 8 hours, after one week lips are visbly renewed, virtually reborn''

I've been wanting to jump on the Maybelline Baby Lips bandwagon ever since I heard continuous raves about them when they were released in the USA so when they were released in the UK back in July I couldn't wait to get my hands on some shades. I took full advantage of the 3 for 2 offer at Boots. There are six different flavours/scents which are: Intense Care, Mint Fresh, Hydrate, Cherry Me, Pink Punch and Peach Kiss. I picked up Peach Kiss, Pink Punch and Cherry Me.  Baby Lips aren't as hydrating and moisturising as a normal lip balm such as Burt Bees but they give a lovely tint to your lips. First of all, they all smell amazing, they all have a different unique scent. The packaging is cute and quirky, it appeals more to teens however I love the range of bright colours, the packaging just looks fun.

Peach Kiss: Peach Kiss is the sheerest shade of the three colours I own, none the less it's a great nude colour to place under or over a nude lipstick. I normally hate shimmer in lipsticks/lip balms however when applied to your lips the shimmer is hardly noticeable, even when swatched the shimmer doesn't show as much as it does in the tube. Peach kiss smells like peach sherbets to me, nom nom nom!

Pink Punch:  Pink Punch has a lovely colour payoff, however I'm not a big fan of the barbie lip colour just because I personally believe it doesn't suit me so I prefer to sheer this colour out using my finger or apply it over a lipstick so it's less noticeable none the less it smells like cotton candy and this colour would look amazing on lighter skin tones!

Cherry Me: Cherry Me is probably my favourite out of the three I own and my most used colour yet. Cherry Me adds a pretty deep raspberry colour to your lips, but its still sheer so if you're afraid of dark colours but want to explore out, Cherry Me is a great one to try! Cherry me also smells amazing, it definitely does smell like cherry sweets!

Overall I do like the Baby Lips and I agree to an extrent with what Maybelline say about them however I find myself having to top up after around 2 hours - they definitely wouldn't last the 8 hours! I do think they've been 'over-hyped', they're lovely lip balms but nothing overly special however for the affordable price I can't complain and would try other colours. They retail for a respectful £2.99 each and are available from Boots and Superdrug, they're currently on 3 for 2 in Boots and 2 for £5 in Superdrug - take advantage!

Review: L'Oréal Skin Perfection 3 in 1 Purifying Micellar Solution

I recently Guest Posted on Beau Maquillagex's blog and thought I'd also share it on my blog for those of you who missed out!

Some days like most people I have those days were I want to use the quickest possible method to take my makeup off and go to bed and that's why I love Micellar waters as they're so easy, pop a bit on a cotton pad and wipe it all over your face and voila! After seeing that L'Oreal had jumped on the bandwagon and released their own Micellar water I was intrigued to find out more and put it to the test. I've heard it's a great dupe for Bioderma but unfortunately I can't do a comparison because I haven't tried Bioderma (just yet!).

What L'Oreal claim:

''Used by make-up artists, this solution feels as gentle as water on your skin but acts like a make-up remover, toner and skin soother all in one.Purifies and soothes. Swiftly dissolving all traces of make-up, the 'micellar' solution acts like a purifying magnet on the skin's surface to capture and draw out excess oil and impurities rather than spreading them around your face like some wipes can. So gentle, skin feels soothed and toned.''

I've been using these everyday for over a month now and I love it, I love it so much I've already brought my 2nd bottle because I've almost finished my first bottle! The only thing is a 200ml bottle will probably last you 2 months max but it's so affordable, when you do repurchase it, it will definitely not break your bank!

I use this after washing my face in the morning and evenings to remove any makeup my facewash didn't remove and I never realised how much makeup I still have on after washing my face even though my skin feels clean. I take a clean cotton pad and squirt some onto there and wipes it all over my face and it removes all traces of makeup!
What ever you skin type, this would suit you, I have quite sensitive skin and I've always found makeup wipes and most cleanser to irritate my eyes and leave my skin feeling tight after using them however with this I find it leaves my skin feeling cleansed and fresh and it doesn't feel tight at all. It really is like wiping your face with water - it's super gentle and effective, I'd definitely agree with L'Oreals claims.

Overall, I'm so impressed my this Micellar water, it has definitely exceeded my expectations and seriously impressed me, I don't see myself using anything else anytime soon! You can buy this 200ml bottle at Boots & Superdrug and its currently on offer at both places for £3.33 - bargain! [LINK].

Essie Maximilian Strasse-Her

So I was browsing in Boots, shopping for a friends birthday gift and then I stumbled across this colour and it's totally different from any colour I already own, I would describe it as a concrete, almost muted green/grey colour. Essie describe this colour as a ''cool grey green'' and I completely agree - this colour is great for cooler months. I love Essie brushes as they large and the large brush just makes it so easy to apply, like all Essie nail varnishes the formula was brilliant and fully opaque with 2 coats. I know this shade isn't for everyone but I really like it and can see it becoming one of my most used nail varnishes. Unfortunately this colour came out in the Spring 2013 collection so grab is quick before it disappears! Essie Nail Varnishes are avaliable from Boots for £7.99.

Maybelline Baby Lips Finally Come To The UK!

I've wanted to try the Maybelline baby lips ever since they came out in America and all I heard were constant raves about them. Today they finally arrived in the UK, they are available in Boots and Superdrug for a respectful £2.99 each, I'm so excited to try them out and they're currently on 3 for 2 in Boots so I will most definitely be taking advantage of that offer. I have my eye on Cherry Me, Peach Kiss and Pink Punch - keep your eyes peeled as reviews to come!

What colours will you be picking up?

Barry M Coral: Accent Nail

Barry M - Coral and Maybelline MNY - 142a

Please excuse the chipping as I've had this colour on for a week now and I absolutely love it but I've only just decided to take pictures of it. I forgot how much I loved Barry M - Coral, I've had this colour for way over a year, maybe even two years but haven't given it as much love as it deserved, the name sums up the colour perfectly as it is a gorgeous coral colour. It's definitely going to be a staple colour for me this summer as it applies beautifully and it's an opaque coral with two coats and the drying time isn't as bad as I thought or remember it being. Maybelline MNY in 142a is definitely my all time favourite glitter nail varnish, I also did a glitter gradient using this colour and featured it HERE but I now opted for a glitter accent nail and I love it.

What's your summer staple nail varnish/nail look?

Top 5: Summer Fragrances!

I have officially finished all my exams and I couldn't be happier. I haven't blogged in 2 months which is ridiculous but I'm back with my top 5 summer fragrances! Fragrances are definitely one of my favourite things to buy and receive. Fruity/sweet scents always jump out to me. I thought I'd share my top 5 with you all, if I was to chose to a top favourite it would probably have to be either Jimmy Choo perfume or Calvin Klein Forbidden Euphoria (I can't decide between the two, I love them both equally as much!)

left to right: Britney Spears Midnight Fantasy, Marc Jacobs Cranberry, 212 Carolina Herrera
Calvin Klein Forbidden Euphoria and Jimmy Choo Perfume

Britney Spears Midnight Fantasy: The scent is extremely sweet and I absolutely love it. The scent lingers on your skin for around 4-5 hours as it a Eau De Parfum. I think it's the cheapest perfume in my collection but the price does not reflect the quality. Britney is definitely known for her perfumes as they've been such a hit and I completely understand why. This is definitely an individual scent that you could recognise on anyone.

Marc Jacobs Cranberry: This fragrance has literally been my to-go perfume on a daily basis. It's very sweet and fruity and reminds of holidays; it definitely smells like sweet cranberries. You get a whooping 300ml in a bottle so you definitely get your money's worth. I've had this for almost a year now and I wear it probably everyday as it's now become such an everyday staple for me and I still have half the bottle leftover. Lasting power is average, I would say it lasts around 2-3 hours before the scent starts wearing off.

212 Carolina Herrera: I remember getting this perfume from my brother as he accidentally brought the female version and I completely fell in love with it from the moment I first wore it. I'm now on my second 100ml bottle. This fragrance definitely stands out in my collection because it's like nothing I own. The scent is very fresh, light and slightly floral without being sickly. I would say it's on the pricey side as it is around the £60 mark for a 100ml bottle but I would definitely recommend it to all age groups.

Calvin Klein Forbidden Euphoria: This is my newest addition to my fragrance collection and was very kindly gifted to me by my sis-in-law and brother and it's quickly become my favourite scent alongside Jimmy Choo Perfume. The scent is sweet without being sickly, it has a lot of berry notes to soften and sweeten it up. I find this perfume lasts the longest on me and I could easily wear it for a whole day and still smell it at the end of the night; the lasting power is phenomenal. I would definitely repurchase this perfume again but I'm trying to use it sparingly as I have a thing with buying perfumes, I always buy the biggest size it comes in (does anyone else do this?!) so it can be on the pricey side.

Jimmy Choo Perfume: This is my second bottle of this perfume, I first owned the Eau De Parfum version but I now own the Eau De Toilette so I can do a comparison. The Eau De Parfum version definitely lasts longer and has a stronger scent however the Eau De Toilette is great as its much more lighter and still lasts for a long time, I would say it lasts for at least 3-4 hours before the scent starts to wear off. The scent is very sweet and absolutely gorgeous, it's very feminine and definitely worth a sniff if you haven't done so already. The bottle is just gorgeous and it's very well suited to the perfume.

I will have more posts coming up soon so please follow me through bloglovin as you most probably know Google have decided to get rid of GFC. You can follow me my clicking on the bloglovin button on the top left of my page or click HERE.

(PS. I apologize about the picture quality, I'm getting a Canon 600D ASAP so photo quality should improve by next month!) xoxo

Update #1

I just want to start off by saying I'm so sorry I haven't posted in two weeks but I've just been so busy recently and I have hardly had any free time so I now I had no idea what to post about but then thought I would write more of a personal post (kind of).

1. Last Saturday I went to see Justin Bieber and oh my god, it was amazing. I waited 3/4 years for this day and certainly was not disappointed. I was standing and I was so unbelievably close...oh and HE TOUCHED MY HAND! I could do a blog post just telling you guys how amazing it was but I'm going to contain myself.

2. As you may know (or not) I'm in my last year on secondary school (year 11) so this is the crucial year and the busiest year as I am bombarded with exams so I have been devoting a lot of time to revision.

3. I have successfully finished my project 10 pan (yay!). I actually didn't have faith in myself but I managed to do it...I am proud of myself. (haha!) I am happy to be able to finally go shopping and be able to buy make-up!

I believe that's all for now. I am now going to catch up on Kim and Kourtney Take Miami and forever wish I was a Kardashain before I go for a meal for mothers day with my family.

Essie Muchi Muchi: Glitter Gradient

I'm one of those people who feels bare without nail varnish; but I still do like to leave my nails natural so they can breathe. I'm quite fortunate because my natural nails are really strong and I hardly ever have a problem with them breaking. I love experimenting with different nail varnishes and I was inspired by Instagram with this look however I changed the base colour. Essie Muchi Muchi is one of my favourite nail varnishes without a doubt, It applies like a dream and it's opaque with 2-3 coats.

Left to Right: The Color Workshop - Silver Streak, MNY Maybelline -142a, Essie - Muchi Muchi

I know it's not the best but I really like it and it was really easy to do. I first applied 2 coats of Muchi Muchi and once that dried I applied one thin coat of Silver Streak. Once that dried I went slightly further up and applied another thin coat and I kept going further up and as I went further up I applied more. It was quite difficult to do with this particular glitter polish because it was so opaque. To finish off the look I applied Maybelline 142a (hate when nail varnishes don't have a 'proper' name) at the top of each nail. It took around 20-30 minutes to do but I'm really happy with the outcome.

Hope you are all enjoying your weekend and I hope you enjoyed Valentines day with the ones you love.

Wishlist #4

1) Yankee Candle - Cranberry Zest: Yankee Candle is probably my favourite candle brand. I saw this particular scent in B&Q (did anyone else realise B&Q sold yankee candles?) I seriously wish I had brought it. It smells AMAZING. I have warm sugar which smells like vanilla and I love it but I prefer this one as it's super fruity and I'm definitely going to pick it up next time I see it!

2) Moroccan Oil: I don't think I've read or heard one bad thing about this product. Recently my ends have been feeling dry and I think it's time to invest in Moroccan Oil as I have had my eye on it for absolutely ages. Even though its quite pricy I've heard a little goes a long way with this product so I think it would last me a while.

3) NO7 Beautiful Skin Cleansing Brush - Clarisonic Dupe?! It's currently on offer for only £15 instead of £25 and I can't express how exited I am to try this. Next time I'm in Boots I'm not even going to think twice before picking this up. It uses batteries and it works the same as a Carisonic but it is much more budget friendly. Once I have picked this up and put it to the test; I will do an in-depth review!

4) Rimmel London Apocalips: I have heard so many raves about this product and I think it's time to jump on the band-wagon and see what they're about. I have my eye on a few shades and I really want to pick some up. I hate when lipsticks aren't long lasting so these seem right up my street!

What's on your wishlist?

My Top 8 Nail Varnishes!

 Hey lovilies,

My favourite nail varnishes are always changing but these are the nail varnishes I'm really enjoying at the moment. My favourite ones are probably either Essie Muchi Muchi or Nails Inc Piccadilly Circus.

Rimmel - Riviera Red:  I love this nail varnish, it's an opaque red with only two coats. The brush is super easy to use and it makes applying the nail varnish 10X easier as it's a large brush that expands on your nail. I adore large brushes because you only have to use 1/2 strokes depending on each nail; so it makes painting your nail much quicker. If I'm not sure what colour to wear most of the time, I go for red. It dries really quickly and It leaves a lovely glossy finish. REVIEW & SEE IT ON [LINK].

Nails Inc - Piccadilly Circus:  I love this colour, I got it free with glamour magazine last year; and since then it rapidly became one of my most used nail varnishes. The colour is gorgeous, it's a beautiful raspberry shade which looks lovely in summer and winter. It's an opaque raspberry shade with 1/2 coats and it literally is dry to touch within 5 minutes, it's probably my fastest drying nail varnish; I seriously love this nail varnish and probably would pay £11 for it. Next Nails Inc nail varnishes on my list are from the collection Sprinkles!

Essie - Muchi Muchi: I have talked about this nail varnish before if you've read my Essie nail varnish collection post, so I won't talk about this too much; if you do want to read more about it you can read about it HERE. I absolutely love this nail varnish, I was worried it wouldn't suit my skin colour but it really does and I honestly believe it would suit any skintone; as far as I've seen it looks gorgeous on the lightest to darkest skintones. It's a really elegant colour but the only thing is that it needs around 3-4 coats to make it opaque but it is worth it in the end and it lasts around 4 days without a topcoat.

Essie - Tour De Finance: I have talked about this nail varnish before if you've read my Essie nail varnish collection post, so I won't talk about this too much either; if you do want to read more about it you can read about it HERE. I love this nail varnish it's a gorgeous fuchsia colour with silver glitter, it is an opaque fuchsia with 2 coats max. Drying time is quick, overall it's just a great nail varnish and one I see myself reaching for a lot more than anticipated.

Barry M - Navy: I love Barry M nail varnishes, they are so affordable and they're great quality. The colour range is fantastic. I love this colour, it's an opaque navy with 2 coats. I would suggest using a topcoat to make it last longer as I find without a topcoat it only lasts around 2 days before it starts chipping. Overall I would definitely recommend this nail varnish & just Barry M nail varnishes overall..they are brrrrrrilliant.

Barry M - Silvery Lilac: This is a beautiful shade, very unusual but that's what makes it so lovely, the glitter finish is gorgeous. In some lights it looks lilac and some it looks teal; it's a very difficult shade to pin-point the exact colour as it look likes a different colour in almost every light. This shade takes around 2 coats to make it opaque but it dries quickly which is always a bonus.

Revlon - Lunar: I love wearing black nail varnish as it's so versatile and it goes with everything and anything you wear. I only need one coat to make it an opaque black and it dries super quickly. I love Revlon nail varnishes - they really are amazing; the only thing is some of their nail varnishes have thin brushes and some have thick brushes. I personally prefer thick brushes as I find them much easier to work with so I'm glad this specific colour has a large brush. If you're looking for a black nail varnish I definitely would recommend this one as it applies so well and it gives a lovely glossy finish.

No7 Totally Teal: This is the only teal nail varnish I own and even if I did own other teal's I know I would come back to this one. I personally don't find No7 nail varnishes the best especially for the price but this one is lovely; not only is the colour gorgeous but it's super easy to apply. The only thing is that it doesn't have the quickest drying time and it doesn't have the best lasting power as I find it starts to chip after a couple of days (but this can be avoided by using a good quality topcoat!). Overall it's a lovely product and a beautiful shade and I would recommend it (especially if you have a spare No7 voucher!).

My top nail varnishes are always changing, especially in summer and winter but I will definitely do another top nail varnishes post in the summer as I find myself reaching for brighter colours!

What are your top nail varnishes?

January Favourites

I can't believe how fast this month has gone by; it literally has flown by. It only feels like this month started yesterday. I haven't done a favourites post in absolutely ages, so I decided to do one for this month as I've really been enjoying some old products. This month I have been shopping my stash and I have been using old products that I've simply neglected.

Maybelline The Falsies Mascara: I've re-purchased this mascara around 3X now and I always end up going back to it. It makes my lashes look amazing and it really lengths them and curls them. The brush is fantastic because it catches every eyelash. I hate mascara's that make my lashes look clumpy or make them look like spider-legs but this mascara doesn't do either of them things.

Toni & Guy Finishing Shine Spray: I've had this for quite a while but never really used it but the past two months and I've fallen in love with it. It makes my hair appear really shiny and much healthier. It also has a lovely scent! I'm not sure if they still do this product because I can't find it on the website, but I hope they do as it is a fantastic product and it was really affordable too.

GOSH Jumbo Lip Pencil - Flamenco Coral: The jumbo lip pencils feel lovely on your lips, the colour is a gorgeous peach. It's really easy to apply and it glides on your lips effortlessly. They're not particularly moisturising or hydrating that's why I love applying MAC tendertone - purring on top as it makes the colour slightly more intense and it feel much nicer on the lips. It's not the longest lasting lipstick as It last around 1-2 hours before you have to re-apply which can be slightly annoying.

Sally Hansen - Healthy Cuticles Now: Around December I really got into looking after my nails, I'm quite fortunate because naturally I have strong nails and they hardly ever break. I probably use this around once a week and my cuticles have been looking much healthier. A little goes a long way with this product and it smells lovely.

MAC Tendertones - Purring & Hot 'n' Saucy: I actually forgot I even owned these (how bad!) but i re-discovered them this month. I've literally worn one everyday whether it's on top of a lipstick or on it's own. They are super moisturising and hydrating. They apply a sheer colour on your lips. Hot 'n' Saucy is a gorgeous watermelon red & Purring is a beautiful sheer tangerine orange; on my lips it adds a lovely hint of peach and I love wearing it on top of the GOSH lip pencil. They smell AMAZING - they smell very fruity...almost like watermelon. The only downside is they came out in the SHOP COOK SHOP MAC collection last year, so they are limited edition. I'm hoping they bring these out in another collection because I definitely want to try some more colours!

I'm seriously fed up with the lighting in my photos recently - I'm so sorry!

What have you enjoyed using this month?

Review: Lancome Teint Miracle Foundation

''Lancôme's Teint Miracle helps you achieve bare skin perfection and natural-looking radiance''
''Teint Miracle works to help recreate and boost the skin’s luminosity. Upon application, the complexion appears flawless and luminous, as if lit-from-within.''

This foundation has become my favourite foundation of all time, I agree with every single thing they say about this foundation. It definitely does help me achieve the ''bare skin perfection and natural-looking radiance''; it definitely makes my skin look natural and I haven't had a problem with it being cakey. I wouldn't say it's dewy or matt but it's in the middle, which is perfect as it looks super natural and the finish is lovely.

I would say this is foundation is medium coverage but buildable, I find its best applied using fingers as it gives the most natural finish. The shade I own is 04 Beige Nature, and it's a perfect match for my skin tone; the colour range is fantastic as there is a colour that would suit everyone. I find with some brands the colours are either too pink or too yellow but I find the colour selection for this foundation has some really realistic colours and they do actually look like real skin colours. Sometimes when I'm in a rush I don't bother to wear concealer because this foundation conceals scars, blemishes so well and well enough not to bother with concealer.

I personally like the packaging, the product itself is in a glass bottle and it looks and feels expensive to me. Packaging is always a bonus with products.

I've used this foundation everyday for about 5 months now and I haven't even used half. I use about 1 pump for my face and I find that's more than enough. The formula isn't runny or thick but it is in-between. The foundation lasts around 7-8 hours on me, before it starts to slightly fade, however I do need powder after around 2-3 hours as i'm looking slightly oily but that's nothing a bit of powder can't fix! You can prolong foundation wear by using a primer. I personally think this foundation is best suited to people with normal, combination and dry skin. If you have oily skin I don't think this would work for you because I have dry skin and I start getting slightly oily around 2-3 hours but I love the finish this foundation gives and it definitely gives me a healthy glow.

Overall I love this foundation and I would definitely recommend it and re-purchase it when it runs out.

You get 30ml in a bottle, which is the average foundation size and the foundation retails at £27 and its available from most department stores. LINK

Essie Nail Varnish Collection & Review

I am a huge fan of Essie Nail Varnishes and recently Essie released a difusion line of their most popular nail polish shades in selected Boots and Superdrug stores across the UK, when I found out about there release in the UK, saying I was excited was an understatement and I knew I needed them in my life. They have quickly become my favourite nail varnish company and my collection just keeps on expanding. I love absolutely everything about them. The colour range is phenomenal and there's a colour for absolutely everyone.

Left to Right: Midnight Cami, Tour De Finance, Orange It's Obvious, To Buy or Not To Buy, A Crewed Interest, Muchi Muchi, Mademoiselle and Waltz

Midnight Cami: I absolutely love this shade and this colour is one of my newest additions. The colour is a beautiful dark navy shade and the formulation is fantastic, it's an opaque navy with two coats. The only thing I don't like about this nail varnish is the brush, I personally prefer the thick brushes rather than the thin brushes but that's just a personal preference. I wore this colour last week and on the 3rd day I noticed some very minor chipping and that was without a topcoat.

Tour De Finance: This is probably my most worn colour out of my whole Essie collection. If I'm not sure what colour to go for 90% of the time I end up going for this shade. The colour is a gorgeous fuchsia with shimmer running through it. This shade is opaque with just one coat and it last's for 5+ days with a topcoat without chipping. It also dries super quickly.

Orange It's Obvious: This is definitely a summer shade. It's a a bright orange and it's a shade which I've only worn a couple of times but this shade will most definitely be my staple summer colour. This shade is like nothing I own, it is a very very bright colour and that's what made me pick it up. I love the thick brushes as it makes it's it really easy to apply on your nails and I find you only need 2 strokes per nail for a full coverage. This shade is an opaque orange with two coats.

To Buy or Not To Buy: I love this colour it's a gorgeous pastel purple, almost lavender colour with blue shimmer (which isn't as noticeable on your nails as it is in the bottle) running through it. It takes around 2-3 coats but because it dries fairly quickly how many coats it needs isn't an issue. This colour would be flattering on any skintone and it's lasts a long time without chipping.

A Crewed Interest: This shade is one of my favourites, it's a gorgeous peach shade that would suit any skintone, i've seen this shade on the darkest and lightest skintones and it really does look amazing on everyone. It's quite sheer so you need around 4 coats which can be a pain and it doesn't have the fastest drying time but it is a really beautiful colour so that definitely make's up for the formulation.

Muchi Muchi: This shade is a very very light pink and it's by far my favourite shade and most used nail varnish out of my whole Essie collection. Even though you need 4-5 coats to make it opaque because the formula is quite watery it's still my favourite colour out of the Essie nail varnishes I own, it's really flattering on the skintone and it would suit anyone. The formulation isn't the best but I love that this shade has the thick brush because the thick brush make's it much easier to apply onto the nails.

Mademoiselle: This is also one of my newest additions and I haven't tried it yet so I can't say much about it but I thought this colour would be fantastic for french manicures, after seeing FleurDeForce's french manicure video, this seemed like the most perfect pink base coat. I'm yet to try this but when I do I will definitely put up a NOTD.

Waltz: This is also one of newest additions (my newest additions are ones that I received for my birthday) and I'm yet to try it. I have only tested this shade out and it is a very very sheer white and it's another shade that will be perfect for a french manicure.

I couldn't recommend Essie Nail Varnishes enough, they are by far my favourite nail varnish company. Essie Nail Varnishes are available from Boots and Superdrug for £7.99

Wishlist #3

Hey lovelies, before I get on to my post I want to apologise for the lack of posts on my blog, I've had had three exams this month and my last one is next week so I've been devoting all my time to revision, but I have seriously missed blogging!

1) I've heard AMAZING things about this foundation. Even though I'm really enjoying the foundation I'm using now (review to come!), it's always nice to try out new ones. Next time I'm in town I will defiantly pick up a sample and I'll let you all know about my experience. When this foundation was first released I defiantly thought it would be more expensive because the Touche Eclat Concealer is £25 and the foundation is only £3 more, so in my opinion for a high end foundation it's defiantly reasonably priced.

2) My Essie nail varnish collection is slowly but surely expanding and I keep telling myself I don't need anymore nail varnishes however I don't have a blue like this is my collection, so I convinced myself that I need it (I'm too easy to convince! Damn you, you beautiful Essie polish!).

3) I've wanted a leather jacket for a while and when the Kardashian Kollection released in the UK in Dorothy Perkins i instantly fell in love with this jacket however I haven't been able to get my hands on it ANYWHERE...literally, It's out of stock everywhere! I'm hoping they bring out a similar style this year!

4) In the winter I live in warm jumpers and this one really intrigued me, even though I could probably poke someone's eye out with it, I really love it.

I'm really sorry for the lack of posts and I promise to try my best to write ATLEAST one post a week!
